Feel at home with Our Medical Home

Local doctors are a cornerstone of any growing community and Our Medical Home Williams Landing continues to provide vital services throughout the COVID-19 emergency.

Since its opening in May last year, the medical centre has been offering a contemporary environment to treat essential healthcare needs and has remained open during the pandemic.

Dr Shirin Anbarjafari says Our Medical Home Williams Landing has introduced safety measures to protect patients, doctors and staff and new ways of delivering care, such as telehealth consultations with GPs and allied health.

The medical centre provides a range of services including bulk-billing GPs, radiology, pathology, a full dental clinic and allied health services including a dietitian, podiatrist and exercise physiologist.

“Patients are strongly encouraged to continue to see their GP for all their essential healthcare needs, such as cancer screenings, skin checks and immunisations,” Dr Shirin says.

“Free flu vaccines – subject to availability – to locals of all ages are provided in line with the government’s advice. It’s important that patients continue to see their GP for routine health checks and management of health conditions.”

In addition, Our Medical Home Radiology opened this month, offering bulk-billed x-ray, CT and ultrasound seven days a week.

“The radiology clinic operates the very latest, patient-centric technology, including the Philips Incisive CT Scanner, the first of its kind in Melbourne,” Dr Shirin explains.

“The Philips x-ray, ultrasound and CT systems deliver the highest quality imaging to every patient while thinking about dose and image quality.”

She says the medical team represent, support and celebrate the diverse community.

“To support the cultural differences in the local community, many of the 11 bulk-billing GPs are multilingual,” Dr Shirin says.

“The newest GP to start practising at the medical centre is Dr Rosemarie Zaldarriaga, who speaks Filipino and has a special interest in integrative medicine, taking a holistic approach to general wellness.”

Languages spoken by Our Medical Home Williams Landing doctors include Persian, Mandarin, Urdu, Hindi, Russian, Punjabi, Malay, Macedonian and Serbian.

Our Medical Home, 111 Overton Road, Williams Landing. Opens 7am-10pm, weekdays and 8am-10pm on weekends. Inquiries: 9008 4222 or visit www.ourmedicalhome.com.au
